50 pieces 50 ways #10: Jalapeño Cream Cheese Stuffed Prosciutto Wrapped Nuggets

I was playing mario party  and I was inspired to make something that reflects the fanciness of italians  and the fun of a party. This dish is like a group of Mcnuggets riding on vespa scooters while yelling through megaphones.

Jalapeño Cream Cheese Stuffed Prosciutto Wrapped Mcnuggets

Yields 8

You will need
4 oz of Cream Cheese
1 Jalapeño
1 tsp of Sugar

8 slices of prosciutto (fancy italian meat!)
16 Mcnuggets
Olive Oil

1. Slice and dice that jalapeño. Make sure to take out the seeds.

2. In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, jalapeños, and sugar. Refrigerate for at least one hour.

3. Preheat the oven for 350 degrees

3. If the nuggets are old, you might want to coat them in oil and put them in the oven for 2 minutes.

4.  Place a scoop of the cream cheese mixture on one nugget and then sandwich another nugget on top. Repeat for all nuggets. After, wrap nuggets into prosciutto. If the prosciutto is too wide then you might need to cut or fold the meat so it is not larger than the width of the nugget sandwich.

5. Place in the oven for 3 minutes, then flip nuggets on to the other side and cook for another 3 minutes.

6. Enjoy warm , ciao bella!

50 pieces 50 ways #9 Mcnugget Satay

Today I watched Ong Bak and was inspired. Rather than hone my kick boxing skillz,  I made a simple dish that any Muay Thai warrior could enjoy (even if Tony jaa broke all their hands and legs and collar bones, okay, ...well pretty much they need to still have internal organs and working use of their mouth).

Mcnugget Satay

Difficulty: man-child friendly

servings: prepares 3 skewers

you will need:

1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup lemon or lime juice
1-1/2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon curry powder
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
9 nuggets

3 bbq wooden skewers

Options for OGs: sliced cucumbers and thai peanut sauce

1. Collect all your ingredients, then mix them all except the nuggets into a tupperware or bowl. Then dip the nuggets in the sauce or just baste them.

2. Preheat your grill to high heat or turn on your george foreman grill.

3. Thread 3 nuggets unto each skewer.

4. Grill each skewer for 5 minutes on each side! You did it!

Thai peanut sauce or cucumbers will go well with this dish.

Enjoy! now go find a coconut

50 pieces 50 ways #8 Mini Mcdouble downs

Ready to make some heart-stopping appetizers for your next suare. This week is an ode to one of  best fast food ideas ever. While it may not be healthy, it doesn't matter because everyone will love you for making them. And love is the best gift you can give anyone.

Mini McDouble Downs

Difficulty level: easy
This recipe makes 4 mini double downs

8 McNuggets
1 strip of bacon
1 slice of Cheddar cheese
1 slice of Pepper jack cheese
olive oil

fancy option
tooth picks

"special" sauce
1 clove of garlic, diced
1 tablespoon catchup
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon paprika
Hot sauce, add to your preference

1. Preheat the oven to 450 °F and check that the shelf is on the top rack.

2. Coat the nuggets in olive oil and place the nuggets flat on a backing sheet. Lay the strip of bacon on the sheet too. ( you can pan fry the bacon if you wish). Leave in the oven for 5-7 seven minutes.

3. While that's cooking, cut or break the cheese slices into quarters. Also mix all the sauce ingredients together to make the "special" sauce.

4. Take the baking sheet out of the oven. Flip the bacon and the nuggets. Place one of the cheese slices on each of the nuggets. place back in the oven for 5 to 7 minutes.

5. Take the baking sheet out to the oven. Break the bacon into pieces. ( I like to break it into roughly the size of a nugget [careful it is hot!] ). To assemble, grab one nugget (cheese side up) and put on one bacon pieces and the sauce. Then grab a nugget with a different type of cheese slice on it and put in on to the other nugget (cheese side down). Then stick a toothpick in them if you want! Done Son.

Enjoy! and give complements to the Colonel

50 pieces 50 ways #7 McBreakfast Burrito

It's 5 o' clock in the morning, conversation got boring
you said you wanted something neato, so I went to make a burrito

Ingredients

½ brown onion
2 bell pepper halves – red and orange (but you can use what ever colors you want)
8-10 mcnuggets halved
4-5 eggs
1-1 1/2 green onions, chopped
olive oil
Tortillas (burrito sized)

OG options
Monterey Jack cheese
Cheddar cheese
Cayenne
 Tabasco
picante sauce

1. Coarsely chop up the onion & bell pepper halves.

2. Saute coarsely chopped red and orange green bell peppers and onions in olive oil over high heat in a skillet until they become blackened.

3. Lower to medium heat. Add the mcnuggets to the skillet and cook until they become lightly browned. Turn off heat and cover to keep warm. mmm

4. Crack the eggs, add to a clean bowl, and mix thoroughly. Add the diced green onions to the mix and look at it.  At this point, if you want, you can also add cayenne, tabasco, cheese,  picante sauce or other spices

5. Return the skillet to low heat and add the egg mixture to the skillet. DON'T over stir the eggs too much. Just let it cook and Stir/Mix occasionally. Cook until the eggs are solid and the mixture is no longer liquidy.

6. Move the burrito filling to the a plate and cover to keep it warm. Use the skillet to warm tortillas on low heat.  Add some oil so the tortillas don't stick to the skillet. Flip occasionally, Once warm, add the mixture to the tortillas and fold it up.

Enjoy! Either with clothes or naked with one of T-pain's chains on.
